Brian Damgaard has published a new version of his great and widely used Sokoban YASC program. The release notes for this new version: Bugfix: The deadlock detection mechanism could in theory (but not in practice) wrongly classify a few game positions as deadlocked. The accompanying YASS solver plugin was not affected even though it has a similar, but more thorough, deadlock detection mechanism. Thanks to Matthias Meger for reporting this bug. Florent Diedler has released a new version of Sokolution - the currently best Sokoban solver. Change log : Change log : Improve solving time due to duplicate entries in the deadlock database Improve the MPDB (Multiple Pattern Database) for 3 and 4 boxes Add a 'lost' idea to improve the backward search. Now I can find sophisticated deadlocks near the goal area but it costs extra solving time... Sokolution 3.02 can now solve even more levels. The details can be found in the Wiki .
